Botox

“Botox” is a neurotoxin used to relax the muscles on areas of the face which cause wrinkles associated with facial expressions. Botox treatment can eliminate expression lines and wrinkles. Areas of the face most commonly treated are forehead wrinkles, frown lines between the eyebrows (the Glabellar area), and the “crow’s feet” that are lateral to the eyes.

“How much Botox do I need?”

Recommended dosage is 20-40 units for women, however it depends on several factors such as how often you get this done, age, and skin type. Detailed information will be provided at the time of your initial visit to our office.

This question gets asked all the time. We are NOT offering steep discounts because it’s not feasible as the product is not discounted and our goal is to provide satisfying treatment/service.

For men – number of units “for the best result” tend to be slightly higher.

Juvaderm Ultra

Juvederm Ultra can be used to smooth out folds and wrinkles, add volume to lips, and to contour facial features. Recommended dosage is 0.4cc, at some cases more. We will advise each patient at the time of initial visit in our office. Any partially used product not used on the first visit may be stored with us for up to six months.

Vitamin B-12/Cyanocobalamin

Vitamin B-12 is the “energy vitamin” as it often increases the energy level helping to prevent fatigue. It is needed to prevent cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular disease.

It is an essential water-soluble vitamin that is commonly found in a variety of foods such as fish, shellfish, meats, and dairy products. It stimulates the utilization of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in the body while helping to suppress the appetite in weight loss programs as well as having a mild diuretic effect.

While it helps the body function to break things down, it also works as an important building block to create the materials to maintain parts of the body like healthy nerve cells, blood cells, and DNA.

B-12 injections should be given on a weekly basis (every 7-10 days) to maintain constant blood levels.
