I work as a pilot for a major airline flying internationally. A deviation from normal was detected on my EKG, and the FAA requested a battery of additional tests and information. I was extremely concerned about what this could potentially mean for my career. Thankfully, I had Dr. Basri and his assistant on my side. Right out of the gate, Dr. Basri offered to personally conduct all of the required tests as an experienced cardiologist. He stayed in contact with me, and gave me the reassurance that he would see the process through. Trish also stayed in contact as well, and gave me reassurance. When the time came for submission, Dr. Basri made sure that I knew he had sent the requested materials to the FAA, and provided copies so that all communications were transparent. The end result was an approval of my 1st class medical in the requested timeline without any disruption of my certificate, as well as a clean bill of health! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Basri to other aviation professionals; he is truly a pilot advocate.
